The Brewster Town Offices and the Brewster DPW/Transfer Station will be closed Monday Feb. 15, 2010 for the Washington's Birthday holiday.

The Town of Brewster (yr. round pop.11,000, Summer pop. 35,000, 22 sq. miles) seeks FT (On-call 24 hrs/day) Fire Chief to manage the operations of the Town’s Fire and Emergency Services Division.

Mooring Permits Due For Renewal 2/15/10

To moor a boat in Brewster, you must fill out the attached application and contact the Natural Resources department. All moorings (existing and new) must apply annually for a mooring permit. Permits are due for renewal February 15 of each year.

Regulations and an application are available online or may be picked up at the Brewster Town Offices.

Public Hearing 2/10/10 Route 6a Detour

The Town of Brewster will be holding a public hearing on: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2010 AT 7:00 PM AT OUR LADY OF THE CAPE, 468 Stony Brook Road, Brewster, MA to discuss the traffic detour when Route 6A is closed for approximately 5 weeks in September/October 2010. Route 6A will be closed from the Museum of Natural History parking lot exit East to the Stony Brook crossing near the Luke's Liquors plaza.
