District of Critical Planning Concern Nomination Form

The Town of Brewster has nominated the southeast and southwest portions of town as a District of Critical Planning Concern (DCPC) with the Cape Cod Commission.

Brewster hopes to better define the regulatory and planning structure for land uses and activities within the DCPC area in order to prevent contamination of drinking water and estuary water resources.  The Town hopes to re-work its zoning and health regulations and establish performance standards and required management practices, to protect and preserve water resources.
